The role involves working with experienced engineers to create civil and structural drawing deliverables for power delivery substation projects, performing structural analysis and design, and preparing calculations and design deliverables.

Responsibilities
Assist with Civil/Structural Engineering & Design for power delivery substation projects
Work with experienced engineers and/or designers in creating civil and structural drawing deliverables
Perform structural analysis and design of substation steel and concrete elements
Prepare calculations and design deliverables
Assist in developing construction drawings and specifications
Apply relevant codes and standards (ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, NESC/IEEE as applicable)
Use industry software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, RISA 3D, SAP2000, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit)
Help coordinate with internal project managers, electrical engineers, contractors, and utility clients to support timely, constructible designs
Qualification
Required
Sophomore, Junior, or Senior currently enrolled in an ABET accredited college/university pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering
Candidates pursuing their master's in civil/structural engineering
Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
0-2 years of experience
Preferred
Prior experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation software
Previous internship is preferred, but not required
