Licensed Escrow Officer

Golden Dog Title is seeking a Licensed Escrow Officer to perform advanced duties related to all facets of escrow processing. The role requires exercising independent judgment and handling various situations that may arise during the escrow process.

Responsibilities

Ability to complete routine residential resale, refinance or builder escrow transactions, including document preparation and the accurate preparation and submission of the closing disclosure
Ability to read and understand title commitments
Ability to resolve title issues (e.g. corrective deeds, vesting, federal tax liens, abstracts of judgment, bankruptcies, mineral rights, boundary disputes and encroachments)
Understands real estate regulations and guidelines
Follows company standards and practices when processing transactions, as well as applicable state laws and guidelines
Coordinates the closing between all parties to the escrow
Returns all calls, voicemails and e-mails in a timely manner
Performs other duties as assigned
Maintains cordial relationship with realtors, lenders, builders, buyers and sellers to promote/solicit business
Adheres to company policies and guidelines

Qualification

Texas State Escrow LicenseCertified Notary PublicEscrow ExperienceSoftProProficient in MS Office

Required

Texas State Escrow License is required
Must be a certified notary public in the state of Texas
High school degree or equivalent required
Minimum of 3 years escrow experience is required
Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Preferred

Associates or Bachelor's Degree
Knowledge of SoftPro
