They are seeking a Hardware Engineering Manager to lead the electrical engineering team in developing high-speed electrical designs for advanced optical interconnect products and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

Manage and mentor electrical engineers; set goals and drive performance
Oversee electrical design for optical modules, backplanes, line cards and optical interconnect systems
Ensure compliance with Molex quality standards and industry certifications
Drive signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC compliance
Collaborate with optical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams for NPI and production
Interface with customers and vendors for technical discussions and component selection

Qualification

Electrical EngineeringHigh-speed PCB designSI/PI analysisFPGA logic designThermal managementLeadership experienceProject managementCustomer interfaceCollaboration skillsMentoring skills

Required

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
8+ years in electrical hardware design, including 3+ years in leadership
Expertise in high-speed PCB design, SI/PI analysis, and simulation tools (HFSS, SI/PI)
Familiarity with IEEE 802.3 ethernet, PCIe, I2C, SPI, OIF standards

Preferred

Masters degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience with networking hardware, optical transceivers, or optical line cards
Project management experience
Knowledge of FPGA logic design and release
Knowledge of thermal management and packaging for high-speed systems
