Integration & Test Lead
Ten One Aerospace is an innovative company specializing in engineering services and products for the aerospace industry. They are seeking an Integration and Test Lead to drive the vision and execution of integrated test activities, contributing to the assembly and testing of flight hardware and software systems.
Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to the assembly, integration, and test of space flight hardware & software systems
Lead and contribute to the development of assembly, integration, and test processes, procedures, and testbeds
Represent I&T perspectives in multi-disciplinary teams that design new hardware and software products
Prepare and present I&T content at internal and external milestone reviews
Promote continuous process improvement related to I&T activities at Ten One Aerospace
Create, review, maintain, and execute assembly and test procedures
Mentor junior I&T personnel
Qualification
Required
B.S. or M.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline
6+ years' experience working in a technical lab environment using both hardware and software equipment and tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot solutions for complex hardware and software challenges
Attention to detail and a high level of precision, particularly in executing and annotating assembly and test procedures
Ability to work with and coordinate multidisciplinary and distributed teams
Desire to work in a small, fast-paced, and innovative aerospace company
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
Able to work in-person at our lab in Annapolis, MD
Preferred
Previous experience supporting spacecraft integration and test
Experience with requirement management tools such as JAMA and CAD tools such as SolidWorks
Experience with programming languages such as Python and C/C++
Experience working in ESD safe and cleanroom environments
Experience supporting TVAC and/or vibration testing for space hardware
IPC J-STD 001 electronic soldering certification
Experience with computer vision techniques and equipment
Experience performing optical measurements, including Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) testing
Experience performing radiometric and photometric measurements (e.g., flat-field, blemish, SNR, or uniformity analysis)
Hands-on experience using Imatest modules for camera performance characterization
Experience working with optical stimulators, collimators, or other projection/relay systems
Experience executing geometric camera calibration using standard tools (checkerboard or ChAruco targets and OpenCV-based workflows)
Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and contamination on optical components
Basic understanding of camera controls and sensor behavior (exposure, gain, frame rate, pixel saturation, and noise considerations)
