Facilities Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

Respond to facilities requests promptly using the maintenance and operations work order system; work orders are accurately inputted, scheduled, closed, and tracked with communication to the requestor
Work cooperatively and effectively with facilities staff, without direct supervision on some assigned projects
Assists in making recommendations and implementing improvements
Move and arrange furniture and equipment; set up facilities for special events, testing and launches
Supports and coordinates the processing of routine requests to meet customer needs
Provides technical support and troubleshooting assistance for various facilities systems or processes

Facilities maintenanceHeavy equipment operationIBM Maximo softwareMicrosoft OfficeTechnical support

Required

3 years of experience in facilities maintenance and operations
3 years of experience operating heavy equipment
2 years of experience in a role that requires the use of IBM Maximo software suite
2 years of experience using the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
