Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

Prepare all necessary documents to support the modification of Bombardier aircraft such as wire diagrams, functional test plans and reports, technical requirement documents, electrical load analysis and design compliance reports
Extensive coordination with outside suppliers, internal departments and regulatory agencies regarding the design, installation, integration, testing and certification of avionics and entertainment systems on all Bombardier platforms
Research specification for component selection. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure specifications are met
Assist service center personnel in investigating, troubleshooting, and resolution of build/modification and test issues
Work in a team environment

Qualification

Electrical EngineeringAutoCADRegulatory Certification KnowledgeCabin Management SystemsMS OfficeInterpersonal CommunicationOrganizational Skills

Required

Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent from accredited program with at least two (2) years relevant experience
Working knowledge of applicable regulatory certification rules (FAA, EASA, TCCA)
Proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)
Must be a self-starter and able to handle multiple initiatives effectively
Exhibit excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Organized individual, able to work effectively with a variety of cross-functional individuals, departments and organizations with a general good attitude and disposition

Preferred

Proficient creating electrical drawings using AutoCad
Working knowledge of Cabin Management Systems
Working knowledge of electrical, avionics, and wire harness design guidelines for CFR Part 25 aircraft
