Responsibilities
Contributes to a positive work environment and promotes the vision, mission and values of BMC
Completes all job responsibilities in a safe manner, promotes and champions a safe and healthy work environment
Lead project coordination and administrative support across construction and related industries
Conduct research and compile data to support initiatives in mining, agriculture, forestry, electric power generation, and marine power
Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on operational strategies and client solutions
Support data analysis tasks, including organizing, interpreting, and presenting findings to internal teams
Help prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for industrial, commercial, and governmental clients
Shadow experienced professionals to gain insight into cross-sector project workflows and best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks
Maintain organized records and assist with tracking project milestones and deliverables
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by offering feedback and suggestions based on observations
Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements throughout the internship
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
At least 2 years of college experience in Communications, Business, or a related field
Availability to work up to 40 hours per week during the internship
Demonstrated competence in the use of computers and software applications
Valid driver's license with the ability to travel for business purposes. Overnight travel not required but might be offered
Strong critical thinking skills coupled with attention to detail
Superior phone and email etiquette required for internal and external communications
High-level of personal integrity with ability to maintain, store, transmit and communicate highly confidential information
Ability to professionally and effectively communicate with executives, managers, employees, and customers
