Responsibilities

Greets all patients and guests in initiating check-in process

Obtains and verifies accurate patient identification & demographic data to confirm or update the patient's record while maintaining confidentiality of information

Is responsible for completing eligibility of insurances presented and possibly offering some financial counseling as well as conducting point-of-service collections

Is responsible for completing registration for all admission processes while providing customer service in person and via phone

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

One (1) year of experience in office or hospital setting

Excellent customer and clerical experience a must

Must be able to multi-task while being detail-oriented, organized, exhibit time management skills and efficiency

Computer skills with ability to type at least 40 wpm

Must be team-oriented but able to work independently

Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods & repetitively

Preferred

Experience with billing and insurance
