PaceMate® is a pioneering force in cardiac remote monitoring and data management. We are currently seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer who will join our innovative team to develop and integrate solutions that enhance patient care through technology.

Responsibilities

Java experience in working with HL7 data (experience with HAPI api is a plus)
Help with integration via the HL7 and FHIR protocols
Develop restful webservices in java
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the above integrations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful implementation
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, data analytics or a related field
5+ years of experience in Java development. Focus on healthcare integration a plus
Extensive experience with HL7 data and FHIR api a must
Experience with Spring Framework (experience with Spring Batch framework is a plus)
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Must have access to stable, reliable high-speed internet access
Must reside within the contiguous United States

Preferred

Experience with HAPI api is a plus
Experience with Spring Batch framework is a plus
