Celer Talent Solutions is seeking a Business Controller who will report to the Director of Finance and oversee general accounting operations. The role involves developing budgets, forecasts, and monthly reporting while ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial transactions.

Responsibilities

Develop budgets, forecasts and monthly reporting & analytics including margin and variance analysis

Serve as liaison between assigned business and all shared accounting teams. Train business staff to review cost reporting and become self-reliant in accounting processes including A/P and A/R / Billing

Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results

Prepares month end accounting entries for assigned business(es)

Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending

Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures and business processes including budgets, forecasts and monthly reporting

Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule and with 100% accuracy

Prepare month end balance sheet account reconciliations for assigned accounts

Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and business reporting

Prepare documentation for external auditors

Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures

Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls

Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors
