Systems Integration and Test Engineer
Leidos is seeking a Senior Systems Integration & Test Engineer who will be a member of a dynamic team working on the United Kingdom’s National Air Traffic Services Flight Data Processing Replacement program. The role involves designing, developing, and executing test plans to ensure software functionality and compliance with requirements.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures to verify software functionality, performance, and compliance with requirements
Lead and coordinate testing phases, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Functional Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Track and report test execution status, generating detailed test reports and artifact packages for stakeholders and clients
Manage and track defects, change requests, and action items
Facilitate test planning meetings, peer reviews, and customer-facing sessions to align on test objectives and schedules
Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and schedulers to ensure testability of requirements and alignment with project timelines
Support the development and updating of systems engineering documentation, such as requirements verification matrices and architectural design documents
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 4-8 years of relevant professional experience; or a master's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 2-6 years of relevant professional experience
Ability to obtain an SF-85P Public Trust clearance from the FAA customer
Experience conducting technical reviews with a government agency / customer
Experience in following a documented Integration and Test Development Process
Experience in the use of UNIX and Linux operating systems
Strong integration skills with hands-on experience integrating large software complex systems
Strong communication skills to interface with internal and external customers
Preferred
The successful candidate will possess advanced integration skills and the ability to work independently in the following categories of integration: New system functionality integration, PR verification, Regression testing, Data Reduction & Analysis, Analyzing identified issues and helping to determine a solution with System Engineering and Software Engineering, Problem Determination
A good academic understanding and/or exposure to system engineering practices to contribute to and/or assist with system integration, requirements engineering, operational and decision analysis, systems definition, requirements baseline control and management
Highly organized, demonstrating the ability to work independently at times due to fast-paced and highly productive work environment
Air Traffic Knowledge and experience working on Air Traffic programs
Experience with conducting formal tests with a government agency / customer
