Project Manager

Responsibilities

Lead and manage individual projects within the 4DW Program, providing direction, guidance, and support to project teams
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resource requirements, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with program goals
Identify and engage key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and clients, to ensure their involvement and support throughout the project lifecycle
Identify potential risks and issues associated with projects and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring successful project delivery
Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to support project activities and achieve project objectives within the allocated timeframe and budget
Establish and maintain effective communication channels with project teams, stakeholders, and senior management, providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and issues
Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure that project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications
Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget effectively, assessing impacts and communicating changes to stakeholders to maintain alignment with project goals
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant artifacts, ensuring transparency and accountability
Monitor project performance against key metrics, identify deviations from the plan, and take corrective actions as necessary. Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders and senior management
Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required

US Citizen, lawful resident alien, citizen of American
Active PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches
Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate project teams
Ability to effectively engage and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in Microsoft Project
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal and must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance through the Government
