Responsibilities
Perform independent verification and validation (IV&V) activities across DIS technology systems and processes
Conduct system monitoring, evaluation, inspection, testing, and analysis throughout the SDLC
Develop and execute verification and validation test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing system functionality
Analyze system documentation, including system test plans, defect reports, operations guides, and release notes
Assess technical compliance with federal IT policies, CPIC requirements, and OMB guidance
Identify technical risks, system performance issues, and improvement opportunities, document findings and recommendations
Support configuration control processes, including review of change requests and tracking approved changes
Evaluate system metrics, performance indicators, and operational data to establish baselines and measure effectiveness
Provide technical input for reports, briefings, and decision-support materials for DIS leadership
Support risk management activities, including development of risk registers, dashboards, and mitigation strategies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree required in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 8 years of technical analysis, systems engineering, or Independent Verification and Validation experience supporting federal IT systems
Possess excellent and professional verbal and written communication skills
