Responsibilities

Collaborate with Sales and Sales Leadership to qualify prospects and plan discovery/value-assessment meetings
Conduct discovery calls/meetings to understand customer workflows, pain points, inefficiencies, compliance exposures, and cost structures
Build and deliver tailored business-case analyses and ROI models (TCO, savings, efficiency gains, risk mitigation)
Translate technical product capabilities into business-value language for legal, finance, operations, and IT stakeholders
Present value propositions and ROI analyses to executives and decision makers
Partner with Sales Engineers, Product, Customer Success, and Implementation teams to align technical solutions with business value
Develop and refine value-based selling tools, ROI calculators, case studies, and business-case materials
Provide findings from discovery and business cases to influence product strategy and messaging
Track and report on value engineering activities, pipeline influence, and impact metrics

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
3–5+ years of experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, value engineering, or related B2B SaaS roles
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including financial modeling and ROI analysis
Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to articulate value in business and financial terms
Strong business acumen and understanding of legal workflows, cost drivers, and compliance needs
Collaborative mindset with ability to work cross-functionally
Ability to manage multiple deals and value assessments with accuracy and attention to detail
Self-starter with a consultative mindset and ability to influence outcomes

Preferred

Bonus: experience with legal software, document management, compliance, or consulting
