Business Development Manager – Legal Services
Pitcoff Law Group, a rapidly growing commercial litigation and business law firm based in New York City, is seeking a Business Development Manager to manage the full sales cycle. The role involves converting inbound inquiries, engaging in outbound business development, and collaborating with firm leadership to enhance client relationships and drive results.
Responsibilities
Conduct structured consultations with prospective clients to assess needs and convert them into paying engagements
Manage a steady pipeline of inbound leads while proactively driving outbound business development efforts, including the generation of new relationships and strategic follow-ups with warm and past inquiries
Coordinate with attorneys and operations to ensure smooth onboarding and client transitions
Track activity, pipeline health, and conversion metrics within the firm’s CRM
Collaborate with leadership to refine messaging, improve lead quality, and develop new outbound strategies
Communicate with professionalism, clarity, and confidence across all client interactions
Meet or exceed consultation-to-retainer conversion goals and monthly revenue targets
Maintain consistent follow-up and CRM documentation
Demonstrate consistent initiative in developing new outbound leads and building a robust referral network
Contribute insights to strengthen overall lead-generation and conversion processes
Qualification
Required
5+ years of consultative or relationship-based sales experience in a professional-services, financial, or high-value B2B environment
Proven record of consistently exceeding conversion or revenue targets
Demonstrated experience in both managing inbound pipelines and executing successful outbound business development strategies and relationship building
Skilled at conducting purposeful, client-focused conversations that build trust and lead to commitment
Strong verbal and written communication skills; confident presenting to executive-level decision-makers
Organized, disciplined, and self-directed in a remote environment
CRM-proficient, results-driven, and motivated by measurable success
Preferred
Preferably based in or around New York City, with flexibility to attend occasional in-person meetings
