Engineering Test Vehicle Systems Test Engineer Sr

Responsibilities
Identify key ETV performance and interface parameters
Oversee control of ETV test configurations
Interface with test customers and participate in test planning
Analyze and deliver ETV test data
Hold technical accountability for the ETV hardware and performance
Identify ETV hardware‑specific technical risks and propose sustainment strategy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams provide regular system level testing and troubleshooting as appropriate
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Software or Systems Engineering or related discipline
Working knowledge of the Trident II D5LE Missile
Experience with software systems design, development, integration, test, with knowledge of space, missile and launch systems at the component through system level
Experience with test planning and execution, including development of test cases, test procedures, and test reports
Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on an inflexible schedule, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data
Ability to interact with hardware and software developers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied
Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and tackle numerous roles as part of the daily program operations
Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change
