Responsibilities

Manage and review complex tax engagements (individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary)
Lead, supervise, and review audit and assurance engagements across multiple industries
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional service and strategic insight
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to staff and senior accountants
Oversee workflow, engagement planning, budgeting, and quality control
Stay current on industry standards, regulations, and emerging issues in tax and audit
Contribute to internal process improvements and firmwide initiatives
Demonstrate leadership qualities aligned with long-term partnership potential

Qualification

Active CPA licensePublic accounting experienceGAAP knowledgeGAAS knowledgeFederal/state tax regulationsClient management skillsLeadership skillsCommunication skillsSelf-motivated

Required

Active CPA license required
5–7+ years of recent public accounting experience across both tax and audit
Proven experience managing and reviewing both tax and audit engagements
Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and federal/state tax regulations
Excellent communication, client management, and leadership skills
Highly self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
Must reside in Augusta, GA or within reasonable commuting distance
