Responsibilities

Track market fundamentals: supply/demand, flows, infrastructure, arbitrage
Monitor policy, regulatory, and new energy developments
Prepare presentations and materials for traders
Participate in internal market meetings and present results
Integrate AI learning tools to rapidly digest data
Investigate differences in API/DOE data against internal forecasts
Develop new and better ways to mine data and produce accurate results
Track cargos around the globe to forecast imports and exports out of and into the US

Required

Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field required

Preferred

5-8 years of experience in Refined Products
Background in the refined fuels commodity space
Experience in market analytics, DOE and API data flows
Familiarity with the evolving energy landscape
Proficiency in Excel and preferably python coding skills
Strong commercial and communication skills
Able to take direction and work towards a goal
Intellectual curiosity that pushes you to find new and better ways to produce accurate data
