Responsibilities

Drive initiatives that strengthen the local economy, attract and retain businesses, and enhance community prosperity through various programs, including workforce development
Oversee various Economic Development Department operations, guiding staff, programs, and partnerships
Help expand the City’s tax base, create quality jobs, and foster sustainable growth
Work closely with the Economic Development Director, City Council, and community stakeholders
Design and implement innovative strategies for workforce development and business retention and expansion

Required

A bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, marketing, economics, social sciences or a closely related field, equivalent to related work experience
A minimum of five (5) years of related work experience within a municipal economic development/community development department, redevelopment agency, and/or economic development corporation, estate development and public relations
At least four (4) years of related supervisory experience
