Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of materials and components
Monitor and maintain inventory levels to support high level service degree to our customers while minimizing excess stock and transportation costs
Monitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements
Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency
Identify opportunities to enhance processes, policies, and best practices to improve operational efficiency and resource utilization
Coordinate with other departments such as sales to forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of products or services
Assist in the development and tracking of supply chain KPIs and cost-reduction initiatives
Maintaining accurate records of supply chain activities, including tracking, measurement, reporting and analysis of performance data
Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and risks, then implement strategies and technologies to improve performance and reduce costs
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to procurement and supply chain operations
Lead and coach supply chain team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment focused on continuous improvement and professional development
Conduct department meetings and represent department in operational meetings
Conduct yearly performance reviews
Evaluate staffing needs and propose resource plan based on company midterm planning. Conduct hiring and training
