Responsibilities

Performing and overseeing detailed water/wastewater engineering design on a variety of project types and geographies
Developing construction documents, including bid forms, drawings, and technical specifications
Developing report plans for sampling, feasibility study, and design basis
Developing technical reports, including feasibility studies and treatment process evaluation
Developing engineer’s cost estimate analysis for water systems
Performing permitting support with local, regional, and national permitting agencies
Conducting or overseeing field investigations and construction support services
Managing multi-disciplinary project teams, including internal and external
Interacting with client representatives and regulatory representatives
Task and project-level responsibility for scoping, performing, managing and delivering multiple concurrent project assignments
Consistent with our sell-manage-do business model, play a role supporting lead generation, business development, staff development, and mentoring
Help broaden our reputation via publishing and visibility at prominent industry conferences
Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in chemical, environmental, or civil engineering, with emphasis on process engineering or closely related discipline
At least 5 years of direct environmental consulting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams
Demonstrated success in the management of clients
Proven leadership skills
Excellent writing and communication skills
Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel

Preferred

Advanced degree in the same
Experience with drinking water system permitting with the Washington State Department of Health Office of Drinking Water
Experience working on a variety of project types and in a variety of roles (e.g., project engineer and project manager) within the water supply industry
