California Surveying & Drafting Supply (CSDS) is seeking an experienced, driven Sales Representative to join its Land Survey and Construction Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for the demonstration, promotion, and sale of high-end land surveying products, meeting or exceeding annual sales targets in the assigned region.

Responsibilities

Actively seeking leads and sales opportunities
Identifying and developing key vertical markets in the territory
Interfacing and developing strong relationships with key end users
Closing sales to end users of land surveying hardware and software solutions
Presenting complex technical sales presentations
Explaining ROI and clear financial benefits of the Trimble surveying portfolio
Attending tradeshows and industry events
Traveling extensively in the territory to ensure close customer contact

Required

Direct sales skills - track record of success
Solution selling with strong ability to communicate ROI
Land surveying, civil engineering, geography and/or business, finance, economics
2-5+ years of field experience with sales in the GIS, civil engineering, land surveying, aerial mapping, infrastructure or construction fields

Preferred

Knowledge of land surveying / engineering / laser scanning / photogrammetry / aerial / land mobile and other Geospatial technologies highly desired but not mandatory
Business planning
Presentation skills / speaking ability - to drive new technologies
Experience in sales
