Sr Global Commodity Manager, Amazon Leo Customer Terminals
Amazon is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of satellites. They are seeking a Global Commodity Manager to lead aviation hardware development programs, ensuring high-quality materials reach production and optimizing supply chain efficiency.

Responsibilities
Manage aviation hardware component lifecycle from initial concept through production, overseeing part entry, forecasting, and demand planning
Develop and implement strategic processes to optimize supply chain efficiency and material quality
Coordinate engineering change orders and production planning with contract manufacturers
Conduct comprehensive cost analyses to refine procurement strategies and support production requirements
Ensure technical specifications and cost parameters are consistently met across aviation hardware commodities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business economics, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, information technology or equivalent
Experience bringing technology products to market in a fast-paced environment
Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting
5+ years of supply chain management, planning, strategic sourcing, commodity management or program management experience
Knowledge of material and manufacturing methods
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Preferred
Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
PMP certificate, or Master's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
Experience with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations or similar technical platforms
Experience in strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis
