Responsibilities
Coordinating and working with suppliers on any applicable plant rejections
Works with suppliers on problem solving utilizing tools including 8D, Kaizen, Six Sigma. All driving to understand Root Cause - implementing corrective and preventative actions related to supplier quality issues
Identifying, coaching, and managing suppliers according to our organization quality standards and policies
Deploy / set-up at Supplier the Quality referential as per SSQM process (performance measurement referential, 8D, PPAP etc.)
Directly manage most complex/critical Supply/Supplier issues escalated
Management of PPAP for key projects including duplicate supply, tooling moves and outsourcing activities
Analyzing quality processes of suppliers (PFMEA, Process Control Plans, MSA, capability studies)
Providing advice and training on quality protocols and conducting audits (SAM and Process audits) to ensure compliance with organization's standards
Schneider Electric specific Upstream tools and data base usage
Coordinating and working with quality and engineering department for appropriate feedback for parts used in production
Working with quality and engineering on PPAPs to ensure we follow SE requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
5+ years of professional experience in supplier quality or quality function
Manufacturing process knowledge, mainly for mechanical components
Good knowledge of 8Ds, Problem solving tools, PPAP, QMS, Auditing
Expertise in using MS office (Particularly excel extract, pivot table etc)
Strong Communication and ability to influence skills
Able to work in matrix organization
Eager to learn, adapt and be flexible
