Responsibilities
Lead a high-performing global sales organization focused on Smart Retail Solutions, including AI-powered insights platforms, point-of-sale modernization, inventory optimization, edge computing, and digital signage
Establish sales priorities and performance targets aligned with Lenovo’s strategic vision for intelligent retail transformation
Develop and execute a scalable global go-to-market strategy to address retail-specific challenges such as labor shortages, fluctuating demand, and rapidly evolving customer expectations
Own global pipeline development, deal execution, and revenue growth across enterprise and mid-market retail segments
Partner with global and regional retail brands to co-create solutions that use Lenovo AI to generate actionable insights, streamline store operations, and enable personalized omnichannel experiences
Become a trusted advisor to retail technology and business leaders by aligning Lenovo offerings with measurable operational and customer outcomes
Translate market trends into solution roadmaps and strategic selling motions, ensuring Lenovo’s Smart Retail offerings remain differentiated and relevant
Champion the integration of edge AI, computer vision, IoT, and predictive analytics into the retail ecosystem
Establish and expand partnerships with leading retail technology providers, ISVs, and solution integrators to enhance solution completeness and market reach
Engage hyperscaler and AI platform partners to deliver scalable, cloud-connected AI services tailored for retail
Attract, develop, and lead a diverse global sales team with expertise in retail tech, consultative selling, and solution-based growth
Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in retail technology or IT services, with a focus on digital transformation or intelligent edge/AI solutions
5 + years of global sales leadership experience, managing large teams and complex sales cycles across regions
Preferred
Proven track record in selling enterprise-grade technology or services into global and regional retailers
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
Experience with AI/ML platforms, edge computing, and retail-specific use cases such as computer vision, loss prevention, customer analytics, and personalized engagement
Strong understanding of retail industry dynamics, from front-end operations to supply chain and back-office transformation
Demonstrated ability to build and scale strategic partnerships in the retail tech ecosystem
Master's degree in Business, Retail Innovation, or Data/AI disciplines is a plus
Willingness and ability to travel globally 50% to drive customer engagement, partner collaboration, and regional sales enablement
