Responsibilities
Drive the characterization and validation of high-speed interfaces like PCIe, and Ethernet, focusing on electrical performance, compliance, and debugging
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test methodologies, analyze circuit behavior, and identify optimizations for silicon performance and yield improvements
Utilize advanced equipment, including real-time and sampling oscilloscopes, BERTs, spectrum, vector and protocol analyzers, to conduct extensive tests and implement automation scripts for efficiency
Provide engineering support to customers and internal teams to address performance tuning, issue resolution, and system integration challenges
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related fields with an anticipated graduation date between Winter 2026 and Spring 2027
Proficiency in lab equipment (oscilloscopes, VNAs, etc.) and signal integrity concepts like jitter, S-Parameter and eye diagram analysis, PAM-4 signaling, and SERDES compliance testing
Experience in automation using Python to streamline validation processes
Experience with data visualization tools such as JMP, R, Matlab, Excel, pandas
Solid fundamentals of analog & digital circuits and data communication systems
Strong analytical skills to debug, root-cause issues, and propose innovative solutions in a dynamic environment
Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively across global, multi-disciplinary teams
Preferred
A focus in high-speed SERDES design is preferred
