Postdoctoral Research Associate

Responsibilities

Lead and assist with grant submissions and peer-reviewed publications, contributing to the development of competitive research proposals
Support research projects by conducting data management and statistical analyses, and assisting with study development, assessments, and data collection
Develop conference presentations, posters, and other scholarly products
Research mentorship and supervision of doctoral students in clinical psychology
Collaborate with research staff, graduate students, and investigators on study tasks, and actively contribute to lab meetings and team initiatives

Qualification

Required

Ph.D in a clinical or counseling psychology
Prior research training in clinical psychology, behavioral health, or a related field
Experience in data collection, management, and analysis, including using standardized assessments and contributing to grant writing

Preferred

Strong record of peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations in traumatic stress
Advanced data analysis skills, including use of statistical software (e.g. SPSS, R, SAS)
Prior involvement in successful grant applications or funded research projects
Experience mentoring and supervising students or research assistants in a clinical or research setting
Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Proficiency with data management and reporting platforms such as redcap
Experience conducting statistical analysis using software such as SPSS, R, or SAS
Familiarity with ecological momentary assessment (EMA) tools
Ability to manage and analyze large, complex datasets with attention to detail and accuracy
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving project needs
Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary work team
