Responsibilities

Coordinating the scheduling needs of the Nursing Department (registered nurses and mental health technicians) in a behavioral health inpatient setting

Ensures staffing requirements are followed

Coordinates the assignment of PRN staff to supplement hospital schedule vacancies and staffing needs

Performs other duties on an as-needed basis

Performs responsibilities in accordance with the facility mission, values, policies, and behavioral standards

Required

Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of staff scheduling experience in lieu of degree

1-2 years staffing experience REQUIRED

Ability to assist staff with scheduling requirements, enforce policies related to scheduling, time off, attendance and escalate concerns to nursing leadership timely

Ability to clearly speak, write and understand verbal and written English

Ability to work with all staff, department heads and nursing leadership in a team environment
