Responsibilities

Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and optimizing the facility layout, workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout
Ensure Lean Manufacturing techniques are applied to new equipment and processes
Recommend and support capital expenditure analysis for capital equipment
Audit manufacturing processes and established manufacturing procedures to ensure process adherence
Assist in conducting supplier qualification audits to assess technical capability and productive capacity as required
Assist with explaining and implementing new or modified manufacturing processes or related changes in manufacturing methods

Required

Associate's (or foreign equivalent) degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related
one year of work experience in the Job Offered or as a Mechanical Technologist, or related
Some work experience required with: 1) LEAN manufacturing tools and techniques
Some work experience required with: 2) CAD software to design fixtures and devices to continuously improve manufacturing processes
