Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for the Supplier Management Team (SMT)
Manage risk and opportunity related to supplied parts and their integration into the segment or system
Develop statements of work and specifications
Evaluate supplier capabilities with respect to segment and system requirements
Perform regular technical reviews
Participate in negotiations as required

Required

Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 8 years of experience with Bachelor's degree, 6 years of experience with Master's degree, OR 4 years of experience with PhD
Demonstrated experience with Systems Development Lifecycle
Demonstrated experience defining systems behavior
Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering (Software, Hardware, Electrical) and working in cross-functional teams
Knowledge of systems engineering including participation in the development of an Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
Understanding of DoD systems engineering requirements
Risk and opportunity management experience
This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen
Current Active DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph prior to start

Preferred

Current active DoD TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
Degree or professional experience in Hardware or Digital Engineering OR Electromechanical or Electrical Engineering
Use of engineering management tools, such as DOORS or Cameo
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML/MBSE)
Previous experience working in a Supplier Management Team (SMT)
Familiarity with EVMS with experience managing budget and schedule as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)
Experience drafting Statements of Work and developing and managing schedules
Familiarity with project and task management tools: Jira, Confluence
