Senior Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities
Work closely with business partners and stakeholders to identify requirements and prioritize new enhancements and features
Collaborate with software engineers, architects, technical management, and business partners across geographical and organizational boundaries
Assist in architecture direction and finalize design with Architects
Break down deliverables into meaningful stories for the development team
Share knowledge and best practices on using new and emerging technologies
Provide technical support to operations or other development teams by troubleshooting, debugging, and solving critical issues
Interpret code and solve problems based on existing standards
Create and maintain technical documentation related to assigned components
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and AWS services
Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using tools such as Datadog and Grafana
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
5+ years of development experience in building infrastructure & backend for web applications at scale
3+ years of experience with building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and AWS services (Code Pipeline/Code Build)
3+ years of AWS experience with EKS/Kubernetes and experience managing infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tooling
Experience with Retrieval Systems leveraging tools like OpenSearch
Experience with using application performance monitoring tools like Datadog or Graphana for troubleshooting
Experience in building backend services and strong proficiency in backend languages such as Java or Python
Excellent debugging skills and an eye for performance optimization
Passion for DevOps best practices
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
A flexible, adaptable attitude, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Self-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Preferred
Experience doing Data Engineering work preferred
Experience in using AI-powered tools in SDLC is preferred
