The role involves developing ICT and security systems for complex projects, producing design deliverables, and collaborating with senior staff while mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities
Develop ICT and security system designs for complex projects, producing calculations and documentation with limited supervision
Manage Revit models and low-voltage system views to support project deliverables
Perform and validate calculations for cabling distances, voltage drops, and equipment loads, applying results to project design decisions
Resolve cross-discipline coordination issues in collaboration with architects, structural, and civil engineers
Support site visits, field reports, punch lists, and construction administration activities
Contribute to QA/QC processes by reviewing design accuracy and compliance with project standards
Mentor junior staff on project tasks and workflows, with guidance from senior engineers
Participate in technical meetings and client discussions, supporting senior staff in presentations
Assist in proposal preparation and scoping efforts by providing technical input
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) and/or PSP or CPP certification required
2–5 years of experience in ICT, Physical Security or low-voltage systems design within the AEC industry
Familiarity with BICSI, EIA/TIA, NEC, and other applicable telecommunications standards
Proficiency in Revit with experience producing and coordinating low-voltage design documentation
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
