Responsibilities
Removes glass from A-Frame Cart or Rack
Sets glass on conveyor belt of washer
Picks up specific Lowe glass
Changes the water filters on the washer as needed
Flushes the water tanks at the end of each shift/day
Changes the air filters on the washer as needed
Tests the Lowe detector at the beginning of each shift
Delivers carts to Glass Washer
Ensures that equipment used is operable and maintained
May be required to works at different workstations as production needs require
Works in environment where tasks change as varying models of product are produced
Cleans equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures
Qualification
Required
Ability to lift 50+lbs
Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly
Must wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times as deemed by management and policy
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality
Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity; Works quickly
Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions
Volunteers readily; Seeks increased responsibilities; Asks for and offers help when needed
Ability to read basic instructions and safety information
Ability to print and speak simple sentences
Basic math skills required
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
