Potelco, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support large-scale data center construction projects across the U.S. The Senior Project Manager will lead complex electrical and mission-critical data center projects, overseeing all aspects of project delivery from planning to execution and closeout.

Customer Service

Responsibilities

Manage and lead data center construction projects from qualification through pre-construction, mobilization, execution, commissioning, and closeout

Develop comprehensive project execution plans, schedules, and logistics strategies to meet aggressive timelines and technical requirements

Oversee installation of electrical, MEP, and mission-critical infrastructure to ensure strict adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and commissioning requirements

Lead daily coordination with Superintendents, field teams, subcontractors, and engineering partners to ensure alignment with project goals

Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, job costs, productivity, and financial performance

Review and approve invoices, prepare cost reports, and track budget variances

Identify risks, constraints, and potential field issues; develop and implement recovery plans as needed

Successfully negotiate and process change orders with clients and subcontractors

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, end-users, consultants, and internal stakeholders

Maintain strong client relationships and ensure alignment on scope, design intent, timelines, and expectations throughout the project lifecycle

Prepare and present progress reports, financial updates, and project status summaries to senior leadership and project partners

Coordinate procurement strategies, long-lead materials, vendor engagement, and subcontractor resources to support schedule priorities

Ensure all work complies with safety policies, OSHA requirements, and project-specific standards

Drive quality, sustainability, and compliance throughout project execution

Maintain accurate project documentation, including as-built drawings, submittals, RFIs, and reports

Lead and mentor a high-performance project team; support employee growth, training, and development

Provide clear direction to staff, administer company policies, and recommend process improvements to enhance project delivery

Required

5+ years of project management experience in construction, preferably within data centers, mission-critical facilities, electrical infrastructure, or complex MEP environments

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or relevant field

Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects, budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams

Strong communication skills, including the ability to write business correspondence and present to customers and stakeholders

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills

Willingness to travel as needed

Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening(s)
