The Staff Accountant will be responsible for accounting and controlling functions, including managing accounts receivable and payable, supporting monthly closing activities, and assisting with annual audits.

Responsibilities

Provide complete support to accounting/controlling department

Perform activities associated with the Accounts Receivable area, including posting cash receipts, assisting with the collection of past due invoices, and regular reconciliations, as necessary

Perform activities associated with the Accounts Payable area, including posting cash disbursements, preparing payment files and regular reconciliations, as necessary

Support the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of the Precious Metals Weight Accounts, including but not limited to monthly reconciliations

Assist with monthly closing. Activities will include but not be limited to the preparation and posting of journal entries, assisting with management reports, and uploading data to the corporate portal

Assist with daily close process. This will include the daily creation, review and distribution of various financial control and credit risk reports to ensure compliance with corporate and local guidelines

Participate in the preparation of the annual budget

Assist with annual financial audit

Provide support for back office
