Responsibilities

Function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age specific care to patients

Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes

Ensure patient’s physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative division

Required

High School diploma or equivalent

Completion of an OR Technician training program

2 – 3 years of experience

Must have strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)

Must be able to make calls. Must be flexible, able to multitask and be able to work independently

Certified Surgical Technician, required

Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification required with American Heart Association
