Responsibilities

Manage multiple projects and suppliers, negotiating a variety of agreements, from statements of work to master supply agreements, to secure favorable pricing and terms
Lead cross-functional teams through the supplier selection process for new platforms and partner with key stakeholders to develop and execute strategies that balance innovation, time-to-market, cost, quality, and delivery
Oversee the operational aspects of the supply chain, including managing schedules, capacity, and supply chain flexibility. Communicate status and risks to management, ensuring continuous improvement
Mitigate supply chain risks and measure partner performance through regular business reviews to ensure quality and continuous improvement
Maintain a high level of industry expertise, keeping current on supplier and market conditions to inform sourcing strategies and negotiations

Required

Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Engineering field or equivalent practical experience
7 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management
Experience in commodity management or sourcing within the optical transceivers or transmission category, including agreement negotiation and supplier development

Preferred

MBA or Master's degree in a Technical or Engineering field
4 years of experience in Optics manufacturing and optical supply chain processes, and strategic business planning and execution
Experience with data center, networking and optics commodities
Experience with spreadsheet software, SQL, and scripting
Experience with new and evolving optics technologies in the data center space
Experience with optical transceiver manufacturing processes
