Responsibilities

Furthering overall corporate affairs strategy and programs at LVMH through: Gathering intelligence on policy matters
Analyzing legislative texts and executive actions
Identifying and evaluating business and reputational opportunities and threats by seeking input from other departments and Maisons
Monitoring and documenting progression of proposals
Drafting briefing notes and memos for top management
Creating visually impactful presentations
Weekly internal policy communications for stakeholders
Representing LVMH and contributing to the Group’s positioning in the U.S. by proactively building and managing relationships with key policymakers and relevant stakeholders at the federal, state and local levels, primarily through trade associations, etc
Collaborating with the global Corporate Affairs team to identify, anticipate, and respond to political and policy developments, adapting the global strategy and priorities to the U.S. market and policy environment
Navigating the complex LVMH organization and establishing internal relationships as a trusted advisor who furthers LVMH’s positioning, protection, and prioritization of policy interests in the U.S. This includes: Creating and coordinating a robust internal community; engaging and activating internal stakeholders to refine LVMH’s corporate affairs position, strategy, and directives
Fostering greater demand from Maisons for government relations and priority policy engagement
Managing consultant resources and trade association relationships
Engaging with and informing LVMH and its Maisons’ executive teams on government relations efforts and issues, involving them in engagement as appropriate
Preparing internal meetings to communicate on topics of interest
Participating in external meetings, notably trade associations and policymakers, conveying LVMH positions
Collaborating with colleagues from other relevant Departments and Houses and providing ongoing support to meet the general corporate affairs needs of LVMH
Working in close coordination with colleagues from the Corporate Affairs teams in Paris and Brussels

Required

Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in government affairs, either in government (preferred) and/or a consulting firm, company or trade association
Bachelor's degree
Solid understanding of government operations at Federal, state and local levels
Strong ethics, integrity, and accountability with the ability to maintain independence and confidentiality
Ability to work effectively in a global environment, with sensitivity to and an understanding of cultural differences
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, take initiative and manage many priorities at once
Exceptional organizational skills

Excellent analytic skills
Strong data visualization competency
