Responsibilities

Partner with IBM account teams and clients to understand their mission, business processes, and technical requirements
Lead technical discovery sessions and workshops with clients to refine requirements and validate solution designs
Design scalable Veeva Development Cloud solutions aligned with business needs, regulatory requirements (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11) and Veeva best practices
Architect integrations between Veeva Development Cloud and enterprise systems (e.g., using APIs and middleware)
Configure lifecycles, workflows, document types, security roles, and metadata models across multiple Vaults
Define technical roadmaps, evaluate new Vault releases, and lead the adoption of new features
Lead document/data migrations and maintain environment parity across SBX, Test, and Production Vaults
Translate business needs into technical specifications, collaborating with stakeholders and development teams
Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) that showcase the value of proposed solutions
Incorporate IBM's asset portfolio, including IBM Consulting Advantage and related Assets, into Veeva-centric solutions where appropriate
Stay current with the latest Veeva product releases, certifications, and industry trends
Potentially mentor and guide junior technical resources
Grow the capabilities of the team, develop best practices and accelerators

Required

3+ years of hands-on experience with Veeva
In-depth knowledge of life sciences regulatory frameworks (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11)
Must have a proven track record meeting with senior management and executives as the subject-matter expert
Must be able to take complex client and vendor concepts and articulate them to audiences of varying perception levels
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and effectively
Prior consulting experience
Ability to work independently and as part of a dispersed team
Experience working with or selling to Healthcare & Life Sciences clients
Veeva Certifications

Preferred

Self-starter that can lead colleagues and customers through complexity to get results
Additional experience in the following technical disciplines: Data Warehousing, Web Services, ETL, SQL, Force.com, FTP, and Batch CSV integrations, and data migrations
Experience with other relevant technologies and integration patterns such as Salesforce, LIMS, etc
Familiarity with healthcare-specific compliance and security requirements like GxP and HIPAA
Experience with Agile methodologies
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
