Responsibilities

Under the direction of lead engineer, assist with the preparation of construction plans, estimates, and other deliverables for airport projects

Prepare project designs and deliverables in compliance to documented commitments, standards, and for quality assurance

Work with design team to complete assignments

Work with design team to track project scopes, schedules, budgets

Follow all in-house procedures related to documentation of designs, process flow, filing, etc

Assist with bid coordination and construction administration

Communicate with design team and eventually clients and review agencies

Attend and document project/client meetings with agendas and/or notes/minutes

Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering is required

Minimum of 0-3 years' experience, experience in airport or highway design a plus

Proficient with MS Office Suite including Word and Excel

Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil3D

Ability to work in groups or alone

Good communication skills, attentiveness to detail, and multi-tasking ability

Willingness to learn new skills and interface with multiple project managers

Preferred

Experience with Bentley MicroStation and Open Roads Designer a plus

Engineer-in-Training certificate preferred or ability to obtain in six (6) months is preferred
