Accounts Payable Specialist II

They are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist II responsible for various accounts payable functions, including data entry of invoices and statement reconciliation, while assisting store managers and corporate departments with accounting issues.

Responsibilities

Take incoming calls from O’Reilly store managers & needing assistance with their purchase card
Work closely with card provider on card changes, issues, etc
Coordinate and track all card ordering for new stores, replacement and expiring cards
Index items in imaging system as needed
Reconcile monthly merchandise statements
Assure accounts are in good standing and all credits and invoices are being received and entered
Utilize spreadsheets & run queries
Populate simple spreadsheets to assist in entry of invoice detail
Run pre-written queries to assist in account reconciliation and research
Assist corporate departments and suppliers with accounting issues
Assist stores and field managements with outside purchase questions
Assist department leadership with problem resolution
Process daily departmental mail
Sort mail and distribute invoices, statements, credits, etc
Data entry of invoices as needed
Prep invoices for imaging
Index items in imaging system as needed
General Phone coverage for the department
Coverage for team members on vacation
Back up for lead and supervisor as needed
All other duties as assigned

Qualification

Accounts Payable experienceMicrosoft ExcelData entry10-key proficiencyBasic Math skillsIndependent decision makingCommunication skillsOrganization skillsTeam player

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Reliable team player with a positive attitude
Proficient in 10-key by touch with a high level of accuracy
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
Excellent organization and communication skills
Must be able to work independently and make decisions within procedural guidelines
Basic Math skills
Prior office setting experience

Preferred

12-18 months prior Accounts Payable experience
