Marketing Associate, Live Journalism Events
Dow Jones is a leading news and information powerhouse, and they are seeking a Marketing Associate for their Live Journalism Events team. The role involves supporting marketing campaigns to generate leads and ticket sales for events, as well as collaborating with various teams to enhance marketing efforts.

Responsibilities
Executing a multi-channel campaign plan to drive event leads and event ticket sales, including: email, digital media, social, print media, direct mail, partnerships etc
Working closely with the audience team on data briefs to fuel your marketing campaigns
Working with the product and brand marketing teams on the hand-off of creative assets and working closely with our internal design team to continue to innovate/evolve based on response
Taking ownership of making updates to the various marketing websites, ensuring that all marketing websites are up to date with key proposition and event details
Identifying and working with key marketing partners, including industry associations, membership organizations, media organizations, etc
Providing on-site support at key events
Handling purchase orders, invoices and cost management administration in relation to marketing campaigns
Developing and maintaining clear dashboards/reports that summarize the performance of the marketing campaigns, across the pre-determined KPIs/metrics:
Share top line numbers weekly with the management team
Measure and manage campaign costs, efficiencies and drive ROI
Analyze and identify actions to drive improved performance
Produce monthly reports, with optimization and recommendations, for the management team
Produce post-event reporting
Qualification
Required
Willingness to work in our NYC (midtown) office 3 days every week
1-2 years marketing experience, ideally in B2B membership, publishing, events, media or agency equivalent
Experience with the test-learn-measure approach
Ability to analyze results and situations, get to solutions and make recommendations quickly
Analytical skills and a data driven mindset, coupled with a passion for creativity and forward-thinking flair
Experience taking responsibility for initiatives and exhibiting a positive ‘can do' attitude at all times
Ability to embrace and drive change in a high pace environment
Excellent written and verbal communication, along with strong interpersonal skills
A keen customer-facing demeanor
Preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
An understanding of subscription/membership models, with experience in direct marketing preferred
