Responsibilities

Develop, communicate, align, and implement a comprehensive, cross-functional electrical safety goal and strategy to achieve performance across all data center operations
Advocate for and lead the research, evaluation, and piloting of industry-leading innovation in electrical design, construction, and operation
Lead the execution and governance of a portfolio of core electrical safety programs
Act as the organization's primary SME, providing authoritative technical guidance on electrical systems, design standards, operational safety practices, and electrical safety-related incident investigations
Establish a framework and system to ensure strict compliance with all applicable local, national, and international electrical safety regulations/company standards. Establish the electrical safety training and governance structure

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Occupational Safety, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience in program management
8 years of experience in electrical safety, high-reliability electrical operations, electrical design, or a related field within mission-critical environments (e.g., data centers, heavy industrial, power generation)

Preferred

Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent safety certification
Professional Engineer (PE) license, particularly in Electrical Engineering
Specialized certifications related to electrical testing (e.g., NETA) or high-voltage safety
Authorization to be a Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) Trainer or equivalent
