Responsibilities

Increase the effectiveness of NYU Langone Health Cloud Services and Infrastructure by ensuring high availability, performance and value through excellent customer service:
Use Infrastructure-As-Code (IaC) methodologies and principles and play a vital role in developing and implementing technical efforts in design, building, and deploying AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud applications, including large-scale data solutions and advanced analytics
Provide DevOps and Continuous Delivery automation by managing CI/CD platforms and code repositories, develop automated pipelines for application development and infrastructure provisioning, and promote GitOps practices for declarative infrastructure
Implement containerized solutions and microservices architecture in utilizing Kubernetes and container orchestration
Participate in all aspects of cloud software engineering and development lifecycle including planning, development, testing, and quality assurance by developing monitoring and analytical solutions to ensure the capabilities and performance of all cloud systems meet requirements
Implement security policies, monitor threats, and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
Demonstrate exceptional critical thinking skills and communicate effectively within and across multiple teams including vendors when required

Required

B.S. degree in information systems, computer science or related field
7+ years expertise in implementing hybrid and multi-cloud solutions, leveraging cloud-native services, serverless computing, microservices architectures, and containerization on AWS, Azure and GCP
6+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS Platforms with recent certification of AWS Professional level or higher
6+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on Azure and GCP Platforms with recent certification of Associate level or higher in both Azure and GCP
4+ years of experience in Kubernetes with recent certification in CKA or equivalent
In depth knowledge and demonstrative abilities to apply the six pillars of a well-architected framework across all three cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing automation platforms, and automating software releases in DevOps environments
Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

Preferred

Health care experience a plus; understanding of the requirements of an integrated academic medical center
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
