Sr. Software Engineer – AEM

Responsibilities
Develop software solutions and conduct tests to drive engineering projects and ensure quality deliverables
Contribute to design innovations that improve systems, processes, or services using new frameworks and industry best practices
Collaborate with technical teams to deliver solutions and mentor others through knowledge sharing and training sessions
Support technology strategy by evaluating and applying current technologies that align with business goals
Create clear documentation for software code, system designs, and business requirements to support knowledge sharing
Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience
Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management or equivalent experience in field
4-7+ years - Technical engineering experience
Expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.5 or higher, including component development, workflows, client libraries, and best-practice implementation patterns
Strong understanding of Editable Templates, including template policies, structure components, and author configuration
Strong understanding of OSGi configurations, including service/component configuration management, run modes, and OSGi console troubleshooting
Proficiency in Java, and Spring Boot, with experience developing scalable backend services and integrating with AEM
Working knowledge of TypeScript, including modern frontend development practices
Basic knowledge of AEM Dispatcher, including caching behavior, cache invalidation, and flushing agents
Basic familiarity with Adobe Cloud Manager, including pipeline execution, environment management, and deployment workflows
