Responsibilities

Install industrial equipment and machinery with precision and adherence to specifications
Diagnose and resolve issues during equipment setup and operation
Conduct regular preventative maintenance to ensure long-term reliability and performance
Oversee commissioning processes and provide troubleshooting support as needed
Manage and maintain the workshop to ensure it is fully operational and organized
Assist in the installation and commissioning of custom-built equipment
Work closely with engineers to provide design feedback, assist with project execution, and support commissioning activities
Provide mechanical support to production and development teams as required

Required

Proven experience in troubleshooting and maintaining industrial machinery
Hands-on expertise in preventative maintenance and mechanical systems
Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production
A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to quality
High School diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year working experience with installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining specialty industrial equipment in a manufacturing equipment
With or without reasonable accommodations, must be willing and able to work with powered lift equipment – for example forklift or scissor lifts
Valid Driver's license and able to satisfy Amazon driver eligibility criteria
With or without reasonable accommodations, must be able to lift up to 49 pounds on some occasions, stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours (with breaks), and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines

Preferred

Knowledge of basic mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting
Experience interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings
Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
Degree or certificate in a related technical field
Minimum 3 years working in a manufacturing environment troubleshooting and maintaining mechanical equipment
Experience assembling and commissioning custom machinery including compressors, refrigeration systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, CNC's, process chilled water and LN2 systems
Experience setting up and maintaining a workshop in a development and high speed production environment
Operations of manual Vertical Mills, Lathes, band saws, drill presses, and other common machines used in a maintenance department supporting production environment
Experience with rigging and lifting operations
