Budget Analyst 1 or Budget Analyst II

Responsibilities
All East Central Health District 6 employees are deemed essential workers in the event of an emergency. As such, you may be called on to participate in an event including but not limited to: staffing a shelter, working at a Specimen Point of Collection Site (SPOC) and/or working at a Point of Dispensing site (POD). If you are called on to participate, you are required to report to the designated site as a condition of employment, whether the emergency occurs during or outside regular work hours
Under supervision, develops, prepares, analyzes and/or revises budget and supporting schedules for assigned organizations or program areas
Performs review and analysis of budget program and policy issues, analyzes financial trends or proposed legislation and recommends appropriate courses of action to management
Performs expenditure analyses and prepares budget-related financial summaries and recommendations for management review
Manage multiple fund accounts including budget preparation, monitoring, & adjustments; process all receipts and deposits; bank reconciliations; financial analysis & Projections, reporting
Comply with GAAP and audit procedures/principles

Qualification
Required
Associate degree in accounting, business/public administration, or finance from an accredited college or university; or two (2) years of fiscal analysis job-related experience
For Budget Analyst II: Associate degree in accounting, business/public administration, or finance from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of fiscal analysis job-related experience; or four (4) years of fiscal analysis job-related experience; or two (2) years of experience at the lower level Budget Analyst 1 (FIP010) or equivalent position
