Northrop Grumman is a leading defense contractor seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer for the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) team to work on the Sentinel program. The role involves overseeing requirements, verification, and interface tasks related to EMI/EMC compliance.

Responsibilities
Responsible for multiple tasks within requirements, verification, and interfaces for the Sentinel program from an EMI/EMC perspective
Performing tasks dealing with interface definition, requirement decomposition, compliance tracking, verification planning and verification execution
Qualification
Required
Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
Experience using Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project and Engineering Scheduling tools or applications
2+ years of Systems Engineering experience
2+ years working in requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS)
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience with Bachelor's degree, 3 years of experience with Master's degree, 1 year with a PhD for Principal Systems Engineer
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 8 Years of related experience; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD for Sr. Principal Systems Engineer
Preferred
Past/Active employment with MMIII or Sentinel Weapon Systems
Experience with MIL-STD-464C
Experience with MIL-STD-461G
Experience with EMI/EMC Principles
4+ years of Systems engineering experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
Experience with complex system development on large programs
Experience with any of the following tools and languages: DOORS, Cameo, Teamcenter, CPLM, Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
