Westdale Asset Management is seeking a Service Technician I for their apartment communities. The role involves preparing vacant units for new residents and maintaining the property grounds and common areas.

Responsibilities

Performing minor repairs and maintenance
Completing a duties checklist to ensure vacant apartments are move-in ready
Walking the property grounds and common areas as well as picking up trash and debris
Performing any additional duties assigned by both the Community Manager and/or Service Supervisor

Qualification

Apartment maintenance experienceBilingual (English/Spanish)Customer service skillsFollow instructionsTeamwork skills

Required

At least 6 months of previous maintenance experience on an apartment community, commercial building, or single-family residences
Must meet all physical requirements and be able to take direction
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Must be able to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment
Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies
Valid Driver's License in the state where the property is located, or a neighboring state in proximity to the property where applicable

Preferred

Apartment maintenance experience a plus
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
