Bohler is a civil engineering firm focused on land development and site design. They are seeking a motivated Civil Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience in site design projects and understand the complete site development process.

Responsibilities

Experience the day-to-day operations of a civil engineering and site design firm

Learn the stages of the land development and site design process

Enhance your technical skills with hands-on experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D to design:

Concept plans

Grading plans

Stormwater management plans

Utility system plans

Soil erosion and sediment control plans

Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to coordinate and drive projects forward

Research zoning ordinances and coordinate with local jurisdictions

Visit sites to observe field conditions and see the engineering process in action

Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to design and process improvements

Required

Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems Engineering, or a related field

Effective written and verbal communication skills

A self-starter attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Curiosity and motivation to learn within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Interest in civil site design, land development, and problem-solving

Preferred

Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred; training provided if not yet proficient)
